September quarter Labour Market Update out now

The quarterly Labour Market Update is now available. It shows that we’ve experienced strong labour market conditions over 2022-2023 and particularly strong growth in female full-time employment (up by 6.0%), more than double the growth rate for men (2.7%).

Online job advertisements decrease in August 2023

August's Internet Vacancy Index shows underlying labour market conditions held steady with online job advertisements decreasing slightly nationally, and across some regions.

August Recruitment Insights Report out now

August REOS results indicate that there was a decrease in the recruitment rate, lowering to levels last seen over much of 2021. Recruitment difficulty and the proportion of employers expecting to increase staffing levels remained relatively steady.
