A new International Labour Market Update report has been released by Jobs and Skills Australia.
The September 2023 report provides a comparison of key labour market data for Australia, selected overseas countries and country groups. This includes analysis of unemployment rates (including for youth), participation rates, job vacancies, employee earnings and productivity.
The report shows that labour market conditions in Australia and other advanced economies are strong, and skill shortages are high across the global economy (particularly in the healthcare and information and communication technology sectors).
