Australia’s job market recorded a 4.2% decline in online job ads last month (seasonally adjusted). Advertisements decreased across all major occupation groups, with Professionals seeing the biggest drop. Declines were also seen across all skill levels, and states and territories.
Job ads were down 12.2% over the past year. The drop was more pronounced in capital cities than in regional areas.
