REOS December quarter 2025 results
This month, the Recruitment Experiences and Outlook Survey (REOS) spotlights the results from the December quarter.
Key findings include:
- The recruitment rate increased to 46%, 3 percentage points higher than a year ago.
- Recruitment difficulty eased over the year – down to 41%, 9 percentage points lower than a year ago.
- Of the States, Queensland recorded the highest recruitment rate at 58%.
- Victorian employers have the least difficulty recruiting staff. Whereas employers in the Northern Territory are the most likely to be looking for staff.
- Technicians and Trades Workers recorded the highest rate of recruitment difficulty, at 60%.
- Accommodation and Food Services recorded the highest recruitment rate (72%).
