REOS September quarter 2025 results
This month, the Recruitment Experiences and Outlook Survey (REOS) spotlights the September quarter results.
Key findings include:
- recruitment rate slightly increased over the year, up to 50% of employers in the September quarter 2025 (6% pts higher than a year ago)
- recruitment difficulty eased over the year, down to 42% in the September quarter 2025 (8% pts lower than a year ago)
- within the states, Queensland recorded the highest recruitment rate (57%)
- Western Australia recorded the highest rate of recruitment difficulty among the states (49%)
- Northern Territory reported both the highest recruitment rate (69%) and the highest recruitment difficulty (57%) among the states and territories.
