Job ads dip in November 2025 and new regional data released

Australia’s online job ads fell 1.3% in November, with the biggest drops in Managers and Community & Personal Service Workers. The Northern Territory recorded the sharpest decline. Over the past year, ads are down 7.2% overall, with bigger falls in cities than regional areas. 

This month, JSA has launched a new regional breakdown of IVI data, offering insights by Northern Australia and Major Cities vs Regional areas. The dataset uses a three-month moving average and is part of the Jobs and Skills Roadmap for Regional Australia.
