Jobs and Skills Australia (JSA) have published the recording of the Jobs and Skills Roadmap for Regional Australia webinar.
It’s a great resource to hear from our panel of experts on the plans to help set the stage for a stronger, more responsive employment, education and training system in regional Australia.
The video delves into the 4 key components of the report:
- Five key vision principles that provide a clear aspiration for the jobs and skills system in regional Australia.
- 19 metrics that can be used to evaluate and monitor the jobs and skills system in regional Australia.
- Ten policy principles to inform and shape future policies.
- Emerging areas of focus for continued action going forward.
JSA aims to create a starting point for fostering local conversations, planning and actions support progress into the future of regional jobs and skills.
Phase 1 was developed in conjunction with a wide variety of stakeholders, and submissions are open till 2 October if you’d like to have your say on Phase 2.
