Survey of Employers who have Recently Advertised

The Survey of Employers who have Recently Advertised (SERA) is a survey of employers and recruiters. It collects information about recruitment experiences from participants who have recently advertised vacancies online.

The information collected is used to produce insights on current labour market conditions and to identify occupations and sectors that are experiencing skills shortages.

Your views matter. The survey gives you an opportunity to communicate your recruitment issues and difficulties. Results provide the information needed for the development of Government advice, policies and programs.

SERA insights are also critical for the production of important publications, including the Occupation Shortage List (OSL), the Occupation Shortage Report, the Labour Market Update, and the Annual Jobs and Skills Report.
